How Can I Easily Create Links To Other Sites In Wordpress?
I want to do something like what Google does for reviews — provide short snippets and a link back to someone else’s site. I’m looking for a easy way to do this.

If you want RSS to be in your sidebar, this is a good widget to use.

Use RSS feeds from whichever site you are interested in. RSS provides excerpts (or full content) which is exactly what you are looking for.
Wordpress has plugins that you can simply type [rss url='http://urlhere.com'] into a post and it will work.
