I don’t know about installation, but Blogger is free, simlpe and since so many people use it there are a lot of guides to go along. There is also a handy Blogger extension for MS Word that allows you to compose blog posts in Word, which is nice for archiving and formatting posts.

I want an easy to use easy to make but still good quality blogging website. Not myspace. I already have one. and mabey one that will post some pictures either in a picture, like, area, or on the actual place where people read. But that’s optional.

One of the biggest things I want to have (besides google rankings and traffic, of course ) for my site is a decent opt-in rate percentage, but obviously the number of people who are willing to opt-in are made null because I don’t have a stupid sign in / sign up box on the front page of my blog.
Any help on how to do this?

I am now using Nucleus for my weblog, but I have one problem. I want my main page (http://myurl.com)(not my real website) to display my weblog, yet with nucleus installed, my main page is http://myurl.com/nucleus/. Can someone tell me how to move all the files and content, or change it so when someone types my url directly, it goes to it rather than the myurl.com/nucleus. (I have a redirect setup so when someone types my url in, it goes to the myurl.com/nucleus/ but I do not want the /nucleus/ part in it. Thanks for the help.
